Realtor Stephanie Pierce has been working for Keller Williams Realty Legacy Homes GR since June. She brings more than a month's experience to the position.

"I sold real estate for 5 years back in the late 90's through early 2000. I then went into a non – profit organization and now I have decided to do real estate again," said Pierce.

The main factor that attracted her to the real estate business is the control over her own time.

"First of all, I love the concept of having and running my own finances and I enjoy being in control of my own time," she said. " I also like real estate. The real estate market is good now and I actually get to invest in real estate."

She is currently selling homes but commercial real estate is not off of the table.

"I am actually looking for commercial property for a client now." She added, "I really love doing residential sales; but I would like to get more into the commercial end because I would like to do some investing myself."

In either market, it is very important for potential clients to have the best credit score that they can possibly have before attempting to be approved to buy a house or commercial property.

"Before they come to me, one thing that they should start thinking about is the area that they would like to live or a school district that they are interested in," said Stephanie. "Second, what does their credit look like? What is their income to debt ratio."

Affordability is another consideration for the buyers.

"How much do they think they can afford? What buyers think that they can afford is not always the case, if they have a lot of high credit card debt or have bills that need to be paid off."

She continued, "My advice is to pay those things off first. Check your credit because the better your credit, the more funds that you can actually get financed for. So if you are looking for a home that is $200,000 and your credit is at a 650, more than likely that is not going to happen. Credit is most important."

Realtor Stephanie Pierce can be reached through several outlets.

"I can be reached at Keller Williams Realty office or website, and I can also be reached by cell phone, on Zillow.com, on my website or on FaceBook. I am all over and very accessible."

Stephanie says that she has learned the importance of using the computer and other outlets to market herself to potential costumers.

"It is very important, because you have to be visible," she said. "In other words, no one will know that you are there and willing to help them unless you advertise your services. You have to get your name out. Advertising in newspapers, on social media and other media are big."

She would also like for people to know that she will do her best to help them to get the home of their dreams or desired commercial property.

"I want people to know that I will work hard for them," she said. "If they are looking for something in the real estate market, please give me a call, I will not disappoint them. If I can't help them, I work with a great crew at Legacy Homes GR and our team will definitely do our best to help them."
