Mary Cancler Celebrates 93rd Birthday
A small gathering of friends and family gathered to celebrate Mrs. Mary Canclers 93rd birthday on August 8, 2020 to join in her birthday celebration. A special drive by that included family and friends waving, honking horns and wishing her a happy birthday.
Later, they showered her with birthday gifts and even threw her a birthday bar' b que.
Mrs. Cancler was born in Muncie, Indiana, and grew up in up in a small town in Kentucky. She was married to Lee Coy Cancler for more than forty years before his death.
She had five children, Jaqueline, Lee Coy, Rodney, Bruce, and Marsha. She has twelve grand children that she says she prays for every morning.
Mrs. Cancler was a home-maker for most of her life, who still loves planting flowers, digging in dirt and reading her favorite newspaper, The Grand Rapids Times.
